That’s it really. Serialized was limited to x111 only, in honor of Bilbo’s 111th birthday. Unlimited is more of a general production version w/the Doors of Durin phrase on it instead.
Thank you. I appreciate the response.
Eleventy-First
Those unknowns sold out in 20 seconds again lol
Just wanted to say, phenomenal job on this project @MarkD , talk about insanely cool and very unique, will be keeping mine forever for sure
I haven’t bought a new 1A yoyo in quite a while. Had to grab one. I like everything about this yoyo.
I only see Limited Edition One Rings on YYE are those serialized models? YoYo Sam had Serialized listed. I ordered from them and after check out, they are sold out.
Yes, the limited are the ones with the serial numbers.
Holy Cow!!! This thing REALLY delivers @MarkD !! Beautiful to behold but I LOVE the way it plays. It is very premium as I was hoping it would be. What an absolute masterpiece. The Yoshicuda and the Dreamland were the only 2 yo-yos that really just wow’d me from the first throw until now. This gave me that same amazing moment where you knew at first throw this one was special… my precious!!!
Play wise it reminds me of the Code 2.
These are absolutely stunning, packaging is really awesome you can tell a lot of thought went into this, great work @MarkD hope you are being duly rewarded
I’ll be honest, not a huge LotR myself, but I know a lot of fans, specifically ones that are super deep into the lore (specifically not just the “I LOVE LOTAR TOO” fans) and I have to say, the throws are dope, but what one me over was the box. I was barely on the fence, but that box basically pushed me off
This is my 2nd favorite bi-metal by MK1 now. Sorry, the Spyglass still holds me tight, haha, but it was close.
Awesome throw, you get such a good mix of the power and spin of a bi-metal but with almost mono-feeling precision and string-play at times. Very impressive!
The details, engraving, and history/lore that went into this though definitely put it in a whole new category and experience as well! Really cool!
@MarkD Didn’t think of taking a pic until it was too late but last night asked my friend Jordan who opened a local D&D bar if he wanted to take a shot of mead out of an official lord of the rings yo-yo and he said **** YES!
So me and some friends lined up both my Ringbearer and Unseen, (fits a shot perfectly btw) my RRT Mjolnir, good life Pharaoh, ineffable Celtic project: saber, turning point Mustang, and Tuesday Market Wyvern and took a shot. Then Jordan said that those were probably the most expensive “shot glasses” they had all used in their life got to talking about the yoyo prices and the girl holding the Mustang very gently sat it on a coaster.
fun night.
Okay, idk if it’s the lighting or what, but that Mjolnir look beautiful af
wish it was as available as Mjolnir…
that ineffable saber in celtic colorway (green)
they had matching machined aluminium cases as well with hidden compartment for accessories
Thank you for all the Ring-bearer love!
Thank you for the photo!
I’m really happy with the design in general - for the first couple of months of its existence the idea of using LotR with it didn’t exist. Just a shape that I thought was missing from the MK1 lineup. Glad it’s getting noticed for that, also!
Thank you!
Welp I somehow accidentally ordered two One Rings. And my brother also bought one for me…so did my buddy.
Soooo I have 4 One Rings. I do not need 4. If somone missed out and wants one, DM me. I plan to update my BST soon with them.
Also these things are killer players. They feel floatier than I’d expect with SS weight rings.
Edit: slight correction. Apparently I only bought one but since my friend shipped it to my address they combined shipments into one box. The efficiency!
Still selling/trading two…
So when is eos gonna do a free style in a green screen suit so he can be keyed out and it looks like just the yo-yo doing tricks on its own?
working on it as we speak
