matador tricks?

I’ve read the term “matador style tricks” a few times and can’t figure out this term means. I’ve seen it used when referring to the Galactic Goose, Stryker, and Addiction.

What are matador tricks? I know they have to do with the spikes, and I’m curious if my 54 can be used in the same fashion

Basically, it’s using the spikes on a yo-yo like you would use hubstacks.
