So I decided today to do something different instead of buying another expensive yo-yo because I’m waiting for my deepest state jawbreaker because I currently do not own any yo-yos that are responsive and according to shipping, my deepest state is not going to be here until probably Friday or Saturday. So I really wanted to find a yo-yo that was responsive and I really did look at buying another expensive yo-yo I was looking at stuff that was like $70 to $100 but I needed a bearing puller.
So I went on Amazon and I was looking at just some of the cheaper yo-yos like the magic yo-yo v13 /v12 and I came across something I haven’t seen yet. Something new the magic! Yo-yo v15 and I’m thinking. Let me check out what kind of shape it is and I like the shape. So yeah I said you know what. I don’t know if this is a scam because they don’t have a v14 so why would they come out with a v15?.
So I made a purchase because I really needed a bearing puller so bearing pullers are somewhere around $8 or $9 and this v15 was $24 with a coupon knocking it down to 22. So it came with a bearing puller and unresponsive bearing, 10 strings, a yo-yo case, and of course the yo-yo.
So if I do the math if I would have just bought the bearing puller for eight or nine bucks.. I paid roughly $13 for the yo-yo, and unresponsive bearing, 10 strings. In a case I was a little skeptical cuz I’m thinking this thing is going to be crappy even at $22 I was thinking oh man this thing’s going to be junk.
Well I want to say I am very surprised of the quality of this V15 for $22 it’s actually crazy. I thought it was going to feel cheap and light and just like a toy but it does not. It feels like a pretty high quality yo-yo so that makes me think. How does magic yo-yo get away with it? How did they get away with making something of this quality for so cheap where you have like boutique brands that cost actually quite a bit more.
Now I have a decent yo-yo that’s responsive so I can start learning from the basics. I’m actually pretty excited. This magic yo-yo has actually opened my eyes. That cheap is okay isn’t so bad
