I built this app to scratch my own itch after rediscovering the hobby last year. I wanted somewhere to save tricks I’m working on so I can actually come back to them, track what I’ve landed, and keep tabs on a collection that got bigger than I expected. There are also a few features for reinforcing tricks you already know and stringing them together in new ways.
Also happy to answer any questions and curious what features you might be interested in seeing in an app like this.
Been trying it out. I like the trick portions a lot. I can tell you put some time in building the trick lists and the YoYo catalog. One thing I have been doing with the iOS 27 beta is using local AI on the phone to parse websites and fill in specs.
I’ll definitely keep this thread updated on that. We’ll see if this gains traction on iOS and if so, I can definitely see an Android version in the future.
Also full disclosure I’ve been working on a cataloging app that I put out aa an open source web app and had been working on porting it to iOS. One of the coolest things about your app and my app is that they come at yoyo collections from completely different angles. I’m looking at cataloging for selling and you’re looking at tricks and catalogs and fun stuff. I think that’s pretty cool.
