Help shape the future of my YoYo project

Hey everyone!

As some of you may have seen in my intro post, I’m working on a YoYo-related project and want to build it around what the community actually needs, not just my own assumptions. I put together a short survey (about 5 minutes) covering things like how you collect, how you practice, and how you track your progress.

I’m also looking for a handful of beta testers once things are further along (iOS only for now). If you’re interested, there’s an opt-in question at the end of the survey.

I truly appreciate the time. I’ll gladly share the results with the community once I’ve got enough responses.

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who has replied thus far! It’s been super interesting to see some YoYo collecting trends. Here’s a glimpse of some of the results thus far.

I’m curious what folks think. Is this surprising or what you’d expect?

Update: I just launched a TestFlight beta for the app I’ve been working on! Since this forum was so helpful with their survey responses, I wanted you to be first to give it a try. Please let me know if you’re interested (and use an iPhone running iOS 26) and I’ll send you a link to join the beta.

What to expect: I wanted an easy way to see my progress, save tricks I’m working on so I can come back to them, and track my growing collection. Since I couldn’t find anything that fit the bill, I thought it might be fun to build an app to do just that, plus more features that I dreamed up.

Excited to share it with this community!
