Feel free to suggest any DVDs, videos or books from that era of yoyo-ing (mid 2000s), I’ve been trying to understand the context of when tricks were invented and by who to better understand how tricks have evolved. Thanks for your time!

I have! It’s fantastic and really inspired me! Everyone had such unique styles and ways of approaching movement, I was in awe the whole time 
There was a wonderful casualness about it all, too! I was happy to see some Danny Severance footage I hadn’t seen anywhere else. After seeing Volume 2, I just really had to see Volume 1. Any other DVD recommendations?
