due to gyroscopic force a good part of the time that a yoyo is spinning it doesnt matter where the string is on the bearing and it balances
^^ for the most part, true! Especially by the time youâre working your way through tricks, less-than-perfect technique will cause tilt no matter what bearing youâre using.
However, there is definitely more precession going on with a flat bearing, becoming more and more noticeable as the speed of the spin starts to die down.
i personally think that KKs are better for string tricks and i like using them.
NO!
I use centerd bearings in some of my throws
I like how the yoyo feels with one in it
it definatly makes the yoyo feel a lot more stable but its all preference
If you feel that way, then for you, thatâs 100% correct. If it works for you, stick with it and donât let anyone tell you that youâre wrong. Why? Because thatâs what works for you.
I disagree, and that makes me 100% correct too. For me, I find matching the bearing up to the yoyo is very critical. I want to get what I feel is the best performance set-up for me and a yoyo. Whatever the right bearing is for me, thatâs what it ends up being.
Iâm not against string centering or shaped bearings, but Iâm not pro-flat either. Find what works best for you, thatâs your RIGHT answer right there. If it matches what other people like, then great. If they disagree, then who cares.
