Literally this, it’s so pro-consumer to keep running yoyos to make sure everyone gets a color they want. Cerakotes lasting longer than 5 minutes means they are actually making enough for people unlike tons of brands that make a yoyo in a banger colorway that sells out in minutes then is never run again. I super look forward to the next cool cerakote wizard cause i still want one.
Agree 100%
i like sarah-coat jojos

I would kindly ask that at this point if you don’t have something nice to say - then its not worth saying it here on this specific subject. It feels more like you are trolling the enthusiasts even more than the brand and it doesn’t feel good to anyone.
Seems like OD is saturating the market a bit with their last few designs - some seem very similar. But I think it’s better to have too many of a model than not enough. If they can justify this many models in short succession then it sounds like they’re doing well, which is good for the yoyo community as a whole.
In any case, I just picked up a white ceracote Wizard (literally only because of the name) and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy how it plays. Though I might have to pick up a Relic.
While I believe it’s great looking, I really don’t see why it would sell for that much second hand.
I mean they’ve been doing the Lilith on every new release and will continue doing so for as long as they release new models.
Relics on the other hand are probably a 1 time only thing, not sure though!
Exactly this! Couldn’t have agreed more.
They did mention that the Lilith marks the end for Cerakote Wizards though (for this run at least).
I’ll be looking forward to Orange Cerakote Wizards!
Beautiful. I thought it might be too light for me but I really dig it.
After throwing my wizard fir a while. I went to put it on the shelf and decided to grab the parlay. Omgoodness, the parlay felt like a brand new throw, like I was throwing it for the first time, it had a new unique feel l, an extra added new sense of controllability and comfort that was borderline magical. It’s awesome. Playing with the slightly oversized wizard, but way oversized when compared to parlay, yet their weights aren’t that far off each other led to this amazing feeling when transitioning right to the parlay. I highly recommend anyone try this. I’m sure many have experienced this no doubt with some other combination of throws. And if u don’t have a parlay I’d suspect a similar experience with something like an end pt 2, capstan, or any other midsize/undersized organic that u love. Also apologies if I’m on the late train to this experience per usual lol.
So then which cerakote do you prefer on the Wizard!
Lilith looks good, but I think I have enough pink purple themed yoyos
Okay if I’m being honest and we’re talking playfeel? Give me the relic cerakote ALL DAY! The relics felt like a blasted finish and I was way less hesitant to really throw it like I wanted and I like that. If we’re talking eye candy, a lilith will always be a Lilith to me.
The huge advantage of the Relic especially in the white black is that you would never notice if you scratch it lol.
What do you think? Is yours still mint?
I fully agree with that! I traded mine! To make room for the Lilith
There are yellow Cerakote FRS Markmont Project 2s. . .
Got. My first cerakote scuff! On my Lilith wizard no less! It would’ve been nice to keep it prestine, for sure. But it’s my only wizard and the thing is just too fun not to play it. I play it more than anything else e lately actually. Now I can really go to town with it. I’ve still got my Lilith top deck so I can keep that prestine and perfect. This does open up a question I’ve been struggling with myself. Which is do I play with it and not worry? Do I try my best to keep it perfect? In which I’ll either baby the heck out of it, not really enjoying it the way with its full ability, or not play it at all. The thing with the Lilith specifically, in a best case scenario I’d have a back up of each throw and use those as edc’s but these are my only wizard and top deck. Then I thought like damn if I dont play them I feel like it actually takes away from the coolness a little bit if ur not gna use it. There’s something kind of cool about having something like a cerakote Lilith as a daily player I think. I think I’d regret more not playing with it than playing with it and damaging it.
What do u guys think? Anybody else have any thoughts like these or is it just me ? Lol
I think that if you are going to play it, you should just play it and let the scuffs and chips tell the story as it unfolds.
With some very rare exceptions, I only buy yo-yos that I am going to play without reservations. If I have something I want to keep mint, I buy a backup to play.
But that is just me – I enjoy being able to see mint examples of classics and no-longer-available yo-yos pictured and for sale by others.
Yes I’ve been trying to get my hands on a back up wizard for that reason and I almost had one the other day but hasn’t worked out. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep this one mint long enough til backup arrived. It’s all good
