It’s like the new-age Slap Chop

Are these 48mm caps?

Yes. I’m using my Asora which fits standard FH caps.

These would look so cool chrome haha! They look like some sweet donk wheels.

I have a design inspired by chrome sitting in my to be protod folder already!

However these would also look really slick with a nice chrome or nickel for sure!

Those look like 50’s wheels and I love it!

Out with the old and in with the new. Last week I was doing some routine maintenance / cleaning and noticed the nozzle was looking dirrrtaaaay. Prints were also showing some artifacts so I figured I had better clean it up. I went to remove the silicone sock and it just crumbled to pieces. Oops!

Kind of neglected cleaning the nozzle for a while. :eyes:

So I bought a new tungsten nozzle another hardened steel nozzle and completely new upgraded hot end assembly and some extra silicone socks to have as spares.

Boy it’s so clean! I can’t wait to spit some lines!

Reminds me. I was assembling an extruder upgrade for my Prusa mini a few days ago and discovered my new extruder uses an MR85 for the bearing

That’s awesome! Super cool to see some minis still out there running too!

Love my Mini! I just picked up a very lightly used mini for $200 or so to add to my little fleet.

They shipped it with almost no padding and the x axis came super crooked from getting knocked around in shipping but I was able to get it straight with some bolt adjustments and belt tension.

I’ve got a revo hotend and another identical extruder waiting to install in it whenever I’m finally not sick.
