Something like this:
I bought an uxcel bushing off amazon that was supposed to be size c shaped. Cost way more than a c bearing and ended up being way off spec size. Heads up haha.
Thanks for the warning. I’ve had a bad experience buying hardware off of amazon in general but sometimes it’s hard to find something specific.
This is an interesting idea for an axle. I’m worried it would be slippy, as I think nylon has that tendency, but I guess I’ve been working with steel axles and that’s slippy too…
Ok, I think this is the coolest thing I’ve made yet. It’s an MR85 printed Butterfly with silicone response. I use a spacer between the bearing and axle, inspired by the Kasm. It’s a great player!
Looks awesome! I want one! Can you add a big Schmoove like the Kasm?
I definitely can. I’ll need to make more in the new year.
I really dig the color combination on this!
So awesome!!!
I’m getting into 5A… I think maybe I need a “String Tension Correcting Counterweight.”
Any cw is a tension correcting cw if you attach it with a bead and not a loop
Just might not look as pretty as one designed to be attached with a bead system. Does let you do some astro by holding the bead though!
I designed a 3d printable 3x3 wall hangable yoyo display. It’s 200mm x 200mm so should be printable on most printers.
Here it is for download with some more details: Free STL file 3x3 yoyo display 🧰 ・3D printer design to download・Cults
That’s awesome! Definitely printing one of those.
Very cool!
Would it be too much trouble to ask for a 6x6 version? I want to print a gigantic one on my big printer
You can copy/paste overlapped ones in your slicer
I thought about that but it looked like the rounded corners might create some weird geometry. I’ll have to try and see.
Yeah, I can do that. What giant printer do you have?
