I want to go to a culinary school after high school
Your welcome to post anything that you cook or anything that you love to eat!
Is there a culinary school you’re looking into?
Today I made my fried rice recipe
I like to eat mine with a fried egg unless there’s some meat in it already (the egg broke:sob:
Other than that it was very yummy and my mom loved it as always
Here’s the Ingredients/recipe:
Wok
Rice spatula (spatula without the holes)
Large amount of day old rice (I use about half of the wok)
onion powder
garlic powder
3-4 eggs
Lots of oil
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Chopped Scallions
Salt
Pepper
Sesame seeds
Oyster sauce
Yum yum sauce (optional)
Msg (optional)
1: Heat your pan to high heat and add oil. Scramble your eggs, and add in your scallions and season them with salt and pepper.
2: add your day old rice to the wok and break up the rice if it’s in chunks. Lightly cover/sprinkle the onion and garlic powder, a generous amount of salt, and pepper, and mix
3: put your soy sauce on the rim of your wok and mix it in for a darkish color (you can also just put it anywhere, it makes it easier to mix it in), then add your sesame oil
4: add you oyster sauce and evenly spread it in lines. Add a little bit of yum yum sauce
5(optional): add a handful of msg to the fried rice for more flavor.
6: plate it by placing it into a plate, bowl, or both. Get a medium to small bowl and put your fried rice into it. Alger your plate and make it upside down. Put your fried rice bowl under the plate and the middle and flip everything. Tap the bowl for extra luck and remove the bowl. Add some extra scallions and some sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
Not right now, I’m going to look into it during highschool, but if you have any recommendations that would be great

Recipe/ingredients
Pot
Non stick pan
1-2 Ramen egg noodles (depending how hungry you are)
Salt pepper
Oyster sauce
sesame oil
Soy sauce
Daddy mikks chili crunch (optional but it’s really gud😋)
Oil
Msg (Fuiyohhh)
1: boil water and drop in your noodles and stir them and uncover the pot so the water doesn’t foam out. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until Al dente. While it’s cooking, heat up you non stick pan (save some of the pasta water)
2: in your non stick pan, add a generous amount of oil and place in your noodles. Add a little bit of the pasta water so it doesn’t stick.
3: lightly cover with garlic and opinion powder and add salt and pepper.
4: add some sesame oil and soy sauce, and drizzle some oyster sauce onto the noodles.
5(optional): Add a generous amount of msg to enhance the flavor,
a small spoonful of Daddy Mikks chili crunch, and a fried egg if desired
In this recipe the noodles I used are from H-mart. It doesn’t come with any seasoning packets and if you get it in bulk, it’s about 5$ for 14 servings of noodles. You can also use just regular packet ramen without the seasoning, but although I’ve never tried this, it’s probably gonna be the same.
Also not offense to the Italians on here, but you can also use regular noodles
I just made a proper carbonara type pasta for lunch.
Just bacon, egg yolks, pasta, garlic and cheese.
So freaking good.
Guanciale
Well I didn’t have all the proper ingredients like Guanciale. (Used smoked bacon instead) but DID use Pecorino. It came out wonderful.
Yeah Pecorino is key. Love Pecorino Romano for carbonara. My daughter loves that dish so much so is also one of our staples.
Enjoy your lunch
