SB4: Over thirty years after the world’s first take-a-part modular yo-yo was introduced by Dr. Tom Kuhn, the San Francisco dentist and team are at it again with the all new SB4!

The SB4 is the culmination of a seemingly endless quest for the perfect yo-yo; a passion for design, aesthetics, durability and performance. These are the principles the Tom Kuhn team insist upon. To achieve such perfection they teamed up with the famous Chico YoYo Co, who’s innovation in advanced yoyo design and machining mastery takes the SB4 to the pinnacle of form and function.

The SB4 is designed as a yo-yo for players of all skill levels and styles of play. It was created with a simple philosophy: to take any yo-yo player, beginner or expert, on the journey from mastering the basics to creating the most advanced tricks out there. For all players, new or seasoned vets, young or just young at heart, the New Tom Kuhn SB4 is an excellent choice!

No Jive: Often hailed as the father of the modern yo-yo, Tom Kuhn creates some really beautiful yo-yos with a form and function that withstands the test of time. This is one of the most popular fixed axle designs from Tom Kuhn and some would even consider it the ‘standard’ for fixed axle play! The No Jive 3 in 1!

The No Jive 3 in 1 is made in the USA from durable Maple wood and laser engraved with the beautiful Optic Star Design. It looks amazing, but the functional 3 in 1 design of the No Jive is what really takes this yo-yo to the next level! It has a unique reversible design with a replaceable axle system which gives you the option to switch between a classic shape, a modern shape, or the unique pagoda shape – 3 shapes in 1 yo-yo!

This innovative and versatile design lets you change between play styles with ease and will make the No Jive 3 in 1 your favorite fixed axle yo-yo in no time!

RD1: The Tom Kuhn RD1 is a very cool ball-bearing wooden yo-yo and has been reported as Tom’s favorite in his entire yo-yo lineup!

RD stands for Recreational Device and that’s exactly what this fun wooden yo-yo is! The idea behind the RD1 was to replicate the feel of the classic fixed axle wooden yo-yo but with increased performance. The small ball bearing and weight rings greatly increase spin time and the patented Turbo Disc Response System gives you the responsiveness of a classic wooden throw.

Great for beginner string tricks and stalls, this yo-yo is the perfect fusion of modern and classic design. Even though it isn’t a fixed axle it is a must have for any wooden yo-yo or fixed axle enthusiast!

Lightning: The Tom Kuhn BC Lightning Yo-Yo has a beautiful classic look that every yo-yo enthusiast can appreciate!

Early contemporary furniture designs and skate board decks are the inspiration behind the cool multi-colored layered design of the BC Lightning. The multiple layers of veneer are stack laminated which provides a really nice weight as well as a really pleasing aesthetic. Finished with a polished clear coat this cool yo-yo is an amazing balance of wood grain and bright color patterns.

The beautiful fixed axle BC Lightning is great for looping tricks and beginner yo-yo tricks. Ideal for any entry level yo-yo players or any fixed axle enthusiast looking for a really unique yo-yo to add to their collection!

so excited now. ;D

Took ya long enough

The SB4 looks dope btw.

Never heard of the SB4. I didn’t know that Tom Kuhn made metals

TK has been making metals since the 90’s! I actually had an original silver bullet as one of my very first yoyos when I first started throwing back in the mid to late 90’s.

That sb4 looks pretty cool though! Would love to know how it plays! Also, great work on getting TK yoyos yye!

The SB4 plays great, one of the few Tom Kuhn yo-yos I have thrown but I really enjoyed it. I would put it right up there with any other high end throw on the market right now.

Tom Kuhn did a great job designing it and Chico machined it so the quality is top notch!

I’m so glad you’re selling to here now. When I first started, the sb2 was the yoyo to have. Looking forward to getting a sb4!

High 5’s all around!

As Jgarcia05 said, TK was the first to bring metal yo-yo’s into production, with the original Silver Bullet in the 80’s and then SB-2 as the first ball bearing metal yo-yo in 1990. It’s hard to believe there was a time when the idea of a metal ball-bearing yo-yo was revolutionary (or that even a take-apart yo-yo was unheard-of before the No Jive).

I admit my bias, but in terms of performance the SB-4 is definitely up there with anything on the market today. Hope you give it a go.

I can safely say that everyone at TK is immensely stoked to be working with YoYoExpert!
