Congratulations! If you can watch that and not smile…you have issues. Great video. That’s an amazing feeling. I won $250 in a trading card pack once and almost died of happiness, if that’s possible. So, I know how it feels, and as an adult we rarely experience those kinds of surprises. If someone hands you a gift, you know it might be something good, but a 1 in 450 or so chance, is quite a bit of luck. Very happy for you, and hope you love the Ricochet as much as I do. I should get a second one I bought in the mail today. I went ahead and bought it cause luck doesn’t strike me all that often, and the chance of it striking me so soon again was slim to none. Please let us know if you are enjoying it and what number is engraved on it. A big congrats! ;D We’re very happy for you. I’m glad it went to someone we know here, otherwise, we might not get to share in the joy.

^ Great photo. You got a perfect box too, it has the Genesis, Roll Model, Shaqlerstar…and the Ricochet. The best possible combo. It would have been great if you got the Equilateral and Protostar too…all the possible throws. But, what a great looking box. You got a great number too. I prefer even numbers. I got #80 today, and had #004 for awhile.

I took the Rico out today for its first toss, what great little yoyo, I love it already!

Genesis and a Shaqler!

I’ve only been yoyoing since this past summer, so the only yoyos I have to compare these two to are a popstar and a magicyoyo n9, and some cheap plastics, but I haven’t been able to put the Genesis down since I got it. It feels super smooth on the string, and just nice to throw. (I did end up taking the hubstacks off last night though, because they were a little noisy for my taste.)

I’m still trying to figure out what my preferences are as far as shape, size, weight etc, so the mystery box was a cool way for me to try out a random higher end yoyo at a non-high end price. ;D

Hubstacks tend to reduce spin-time, which newer yoyoers may notice a little more.
You can also lube hubstack bearings if you feel that the weight is good but the reduced spin time or the noise becomes a problem.
