Yeah I understand what you’re saying. With Jake, I think that 5A just comes so naturally to him that he does his tricks (the tricks which you can know are undoubtedly picked as the highest scoring tricks. Jake it very learned of the scoring system) over and over and really thinks about ways to make them more do-able without losing the points.
Side note, the tricks he did in his worlds freestyle are good. They score really highly. But Jake isn’t a trick hog. He knows the system and uses it, but that doesn’t mean that he has doesn’t some really cool tricks. Some of his 5A is the most inventive stuff I’ve seen.
