I deleted bulk of this thread because I felt it didn’t really go in the direction it needed to for a simple question.

Yes - that song is fine for use at a yo-yo contest. They specifically restrict profanity/curse words, etc. Sometimes there can be gray areas worth asking of course but again this song wouldn’t fall into anything off there.

In the future just reach out the contest organizer of the contest you intend to go to.

When you are on a contest page at compete.yoyocontest.com there is a ‘contact organizer’ button there and you can reach out and ask in the future. :+1:
