I have an Iphone 5 and am thinking about getting a lifeproof. I have an otterbox defender, incipio stowaway, dualpro, clear back case, and a bunch of gameboy style and other chinese cases from amazon. And I was wondering if anyone has owned a lifeproof and how long they last and how well they work as in how slim they are and durability.
I had a life proof case for my 4s. I didn’t want an Otterbox because they are too thick. but the life proof case is nice and thin. they work great. I worked at a truck wash and I could pour water on it without worrying. they are very durable. I would bowl mine down the sidewalk all the time. the phone fits nice and tight. the only real thickness is from the edges where it comes up a bit to protect the phone from falls. I am very picky about my cases. I HATE thick cases. and this was a very good case for me. you should try it out.
did you have any problems with the speaker?
I was going to buy a lifeproof case, but I heard from more than one person that the case blocked the speaker/mic, making it kinda fuzzy sounding.
I can’t remember if it was bad or not. it must have been too bad if I don’t remember though. it was probably a bit muffled or quiet.
