Introducing The Acorn From Slestak75 Brought to life by Return Bottoms Tops

Sickkkk. Was thinking itd be interesting to see one end up with somebody who lives near the ocean. Copper/bronze just gets cooler with age IMO.

Florida Man may be crazy but hes got a sweet yoyo!

I would put out a treat for my mail carrier but last time I shipped a ton of packages at once he purposely picked up and left behind the water and treat I left out as a thank you lol.

SO COOL.

I love stuff like this

That’s awesome. Pretty sure the design on the rim is called “knurling.” It’s typically used on hardware that is frequently held by human hands and needs a bit more grip

Yep! They basically used a knurling pattern but altered it to be more sparse compared to like this.

A week in the life of an Acorn

Literally one day of throwing made it turn copper penny colour.. since then it’s just slowly maturing into it own unique colour-way.

Don’t know how you managed to keep them so minty @AudreySickburn and get them out so clean. Kudos and thanks for your hard work

Th trick to keeping them minty is the little black square in the package! It’s an anti tarnish strip often used for jewelry. Keeps it fresh until you start playing with it.

I would like to talk about the Salem Veterans Hospital. It’s where I receive my health care and I only wish my wife and family could get care there. The hospital itself has stood amongst the top 10 in the country for as long as I’ve known. The entire staff is incredible, professional, and FRIENDLY!! The Social Work team will go out of there way to provide assistance with legal documentation of all sorts. Really helping anyone to understand exactly what they are signing and why. And the advice is always in the patient’s favor, not the collection department. I have even had members of the billing department come out of nowhere and ask…”would collection of this bill cause you or your family any financial hardship..yada yada.” And they have actually wiped out debt right there on the phone.

I can’t say enough about this incredible branch that stands head and shoulders above so many “horror stories” called hospitals out there. I know that your Acorn purchases were more for yourselves but thank you nonetheless to all of you and to you Andy @AudreySickburn for having such a generous heart. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
