…had one thing different, I think I’d really like it.
What are some yoyos that you think you would have really liked if only one thing about it was different, and what’s that one thing?
Are there yoyos that were updated, and you loved the new version after not caring for the old version, or vise versa?
For me I think I would have liked the Par Avion a lot, if it had a 4.5mm gap instead of the 4.86mm it has. It was just frustrating to play with, and I sold mine. I don’t know how it made it into production, honestly, with that gap.
Also, I think I would really love a G.5 made of stainless steel. I actually really loved the first version, but it would be so much better I think with some more umph to it!
If only the Free Solo and had a sharper spike. I enjoy a good matador pull start and fingerspin. It’s possible but you gotta hold your mouth just right.
But I like the big gap on the Par Avion… Just adds to the horizontal and extreme trick capabilities for me. It’s a powerhouse!
I have to agree with @HappyHands.
If you could change one thing. Available.
Now that I am starting to aquire some ‘better’ yoyos, the ones I would want are always Sold out.
The bi-metal Duncan Exit8 would be a much more enjoyable yo-yo if it had rounded edges on the rim. They are just so sharp. It has such great undersized dimensions, looks amazing, and feels and sounds so unique on the throw. It’s fun to pick up for a unique experience now and then, but it would be a more everyday yo-yo if they designed it to round a little of the edge off.
