so a minute ago my brother asked me “when were unresponsive yoyos made?” and i was so clueless this could be a big learning opportunity for both us us
does anyone know when unresponsive yoyoing was invented?

unresponsive was a trend that started getting traction around the early 2000’s, but that’s as much as I know. Manufacturers didn’t really make unresponsive yoyos, so modders and modding became big in the high performance scene.
YYJ was pretty big in the movement too.
