Fellowship of the Strings meets in San Jose and it is a very cool group. The only downside is for me, it’s a 140 mile drive. My wife goes to San Jose on a once a month basis and tries to scheduled her trip so it an align with these meets. Lately, it hasn’t worked out due to my obligations and gig schedules.
My meet group is in Sacramento. I’m trying to arrange monthly meetings. Again, my other stuff has been getting in the way of that. I’m also open to smaller meets, but usually at my house.
Learning Express offers YoLex at their two locations in Roseville, which isn’t too far from me. This Sunday it’s at their Rocky Ridge location(so it’s outdoors). Saturday(next weekend), it will be indoors at the Roseville Galleria location. They alternate locations on alternate weekends. Sundays is the Rocky Ridge Location, Saturday is the Galleria location.
So, surprisingly, Sacramento is relatively active as far as skill toys are concerned.
