I like the Bear Trap, what other yo-yos should I try?

Bear Trap by CLYW is probably one of my favorite yo-yos. So what is out there that compares? I’d love a rec for something in the G2 line, as I’ve been meaning to pick one of those up.

Thanks!

Jake Bullock x UNPRLD Chunk

Chunk and Bear Trap were my favorite capped yoyos that I played last year, I feel like a lot of them feel pretty light and a bit anemic, but the Chunk and Bear Trap both felt just a little more performant and weighty than the rest of the bunch.

UNPRLD Hash is also pretty good, but I’d avoid the Motif. Motif is good but very different, feels super light.

Dis Anima had an extra weighty feel in play, but really lacks spin time for how heavy it feels.

That’s all I’ve played, but honestly you might just wind up liking everything you try less than the Bear Trap. I thought the Bear Trap along with the Chunk were by far the best of the bunch, and if the Bear Trap just released last year when capped monos were so trendy, it would’ve been very well received. Just launched released well in advance of that fad catching on is all.

For what it’s worth, following Mable’s comments, I really like the Bear Trap as well, and love the Hash. I’m usually not that into V-shapes either, but it’s just rounded enough that it’s comfortable while still having some of the benefits. One of my favorite capped monos.

Comparatively (Hash vs. BT)

From the G2 side, Banshee and Reaper might be of interest as well.
Not capped, but similar-ish profiles. Banshee is a little sharper and lighter, Reaper feels a little curvier and heavier. Both are also fun though!
