How to modify yoyos?
There are many, many things you can do. Some basics are replacing your response with something else depending on what yo-yo you have. You can also add shims or spacers to widen the gap of your yo-yo. You can clean your bearing to reduce the response.
More advanced things you can do is silicone recess, satin, dye, paint, add hubstacks, add weight rings, add schmoove rings, and much more.
As you can see, there are a lot of things you can do depending on what yo-yo you have, but I recommend just starting with the simpler things for now.
