How to level up? (1a yoyo)

Hey Yall so its been around a year or two for me of semi- consistent yoyoing for fun.
I would say Im an intermediate level yoyo player.

I can get into houdini mounts, double or nothings, green triangles, pacman mounts, and wrist mounts. I have a few slack tricks unlocked including maybe 2 toru miyazaki slack tricks and 2 zach gormley slack tricks. Im getting to the point where I can kind of transition smoothly between tricks and freestyle but still limited by the mounts and arsenal I have.

Lowkey tired of being so limited and I watch pros and wonder how cool It would be to really be in that flow state and know the ins and outs of 1a flow.

I want to really level up and get close to the level/style of : matthew doyle, bogdan bezuglyi, and ryunosuke saito.
I just dont know where to start or what to watch or how the freak to even begin mastering the yoyo like they do. Ideally given 2-3 more years of 2-3 hours practice a day would be a timeline I’d like to achieve this.

Any tips or suggestions on where to start? The hardest part is finding out where to learn half of the stuff those guys do
Also has anyone here tried really mastering 1a over some years and what’s it like? A lot of knots I imagine

(For now I’ve been watching a lot of yoyojoe tutorials and Diego b yoyo tutorials)

Everyone learns at different paces, myself I felt like I was in this rut for a while…Was also what you’d call “intermediate” if we were going off the YYE trick list. To this day, I still feel like I have a lot to learn but I also sit at a point where I’m comfortable picking tricks that I do know apart and modifying or mixing in an element from another trick. There’s quite a bit you can do with the double or nothing or wrist mounts.
