The little gasket in my Bearing King is definitely loose or just old/worn. It’s this thing right here:
Does anyone know of a modern replacement? The tip often comes loose (or falls out!) when throwing.
Thanks in advance!

If it’s the same as hubstacks it’s a 007 oring
Does your bearing king have two bearings or just one?
I don’t know where you find them in the real world, but I used to scrounge them out of carb kits at the Suzuki shop. If you have any metric bike shops in your area, someone in parts or service might be able to find you some. Or they might run you off.
The bearing kings all have 2 bearings. The rip cord is the same, it has a cut away or recess for a top bearing, so you can push out the fixed tip and install the bearing tip, which has a bottom bearing already on it, but you have to add the upper bearing. The O ring keeps the tip from sliding back out, until it wears out and the tip starts flying out and getting lost in the grass.
Ok for some reason I thought they stopped doing the top bearing. I guess I’m a big doofus that hasn’t taken them apart in years.![]()
All that O ring does is keep the tip from slipping out, so anything you could pay above it that didn’t drag on the bearing, like a wrap of wire, would hold the o ring in the right place. I struggled with Bearing King tops for a long time, the are kind of a pain.
Thanks all! A bag of a few hundred(!) O-rings was about 7 bucks. Going to give that a try!
