the tutorial thats by Gsimian is okay but I need to know what materials to use for string making.

I use a good soft polyester thread, you can find it at a craft store, and the nylon at the same place. Just look for thin stay away from the thick stuff you wont get a good wrap from it.

looks like he used regular thread. just go to wal mart and ask if they have any polly, or cotton tread. you ask if they have 5050 but they didn’t at my walmart. later.
