how remove trompo grande bearing tip

Hi everyone,
My name is Davin and I am just getting into spin tops! I must say it is quite addicting. I was hoping someone could give me a step by step on how to remove the trompo grande beaing tip so I can clean the bearing?

You need something like a dental tool to get the tiny o-ring off of the axle that is above the inner bearing. It is no easy task. Sometimes I just use electrical contact cleaner (comes in a spray-paint sized can, is available at car parts stores, comes with a little red straw like WD-40) - just spray it in there, spin the tip a little, towel dry, and start playing again. No surgery necessary :smiley:
