how long does your last?

well my Duncan raptor just broke a few minutes ago and I have been playing it for one year so I’m not suerprise if it broke So I was just wandering how long does your yoyo last and what is the name of that
yoyo.

It broke?

the axle was tilted :-[

I’ve never had a yoyo break on me.

same here. I’ve had bearings break on me, but never a yoyo.

i had a proyo gt break in half out of nowhere back in like 1998 or 99. thats the only one that has broken on me that i can think of

Same, including bearings.

Replace the axle.

I never had a yoyo randomly break on me, but after I rather forcefully threw a plastic yoyo into my tile floor, it broke quite handily. Totally my fault, so don’t think it qualifies for “how long did it last?” per se.

(FWIW, I threw it into the tile floor because it wasn’t … er… wrapped? around the axle sufficiently. It didn’t unwind, it just went straight down… and my muscle memory wanted to react to it unwinding!)

Only yoyo I’ve ever broken is my Yomega Fireball. Lasted a good decade playing on and off.

I’ve broken a dm1 (got it in a trade, previous owner cracked it pretty bad. one hit on the floor and it was over)
and my friend has broken a pocket change within a few minutes of buying it. Other than that though, never seen a yoyo break.

Put it this way, if a room full of yoyoers only had the pocket change…

It would be death… death everywhere…

My DV888 stripped out after a year of intense use and screwing and unscrewing a lot. So my fault, and also over tightened dollar tree yoyos and they broke as well.

Broke a whip while attempting offstring boingy boing over concrete. Literally snapped the axle in half, broke parts of the bearing seat, and deshielded the bearing in one fell swoop.

My friend threw my Rev Rim and the thing literally flew to pieces lol :p. It was actually funny. All that was still on the string was the overly lined bearing (I don’t think the previous owner was good at knowing when to lube the bearing, there was so much I could SMELL it), and it was looped in the string. We picked up the pieces and put it back together. That was a weird instance…
