A year and a half
First metal was a dv888 at one month
I had been throwing on and off for about a year before my first high end metal. The first one I got was the Toxic Hazmat Bumblebee Edition 5 of 8.
Two Years
My first metal was the Hazmat, it was so pretty I had to splurge! But I had owned a DM2 for a while before that, so if bi-metal counts then the dm2 would be first.
