I am going to do the scales contest V4. I haven’t read the instructions yet, but just in case it’s important, what is the best method of transferring sound to what ever is recording, while simultaneously to your ear?

An easy way I can think of is to clap at a certain point during the song or something that you can sync it with, than add the song on top of the video (it pretty simple with something like windows movie maker which I believe is free).
