How Do You Organize Your Yoyos?

More specifically, is there a certain way you group your yoyos when putting them in a case/display?

I find myself changing how I have them in my cases all the time, sometimes seperating by material, shape, company, color, etc.

Curious what others do

The ones I use on top of coffee table, the ones I don’t use as much (they all get used), under. My wife is not the biggest fan lol.

I’ve been on a responsive kick like crazy. The Corvus has been the only unresponsive I’ve been reaching below for lately.

Same, @Eqo, same.

Typically grouped by brand, as I have just enough for a CLYW shelf and a One Drop shelf, the rest is more or less by color or brand, or just how I can get them to fit lol

I group mine by brand and then order them by purchase date.

Gallon ziplock of strings, cases for club, got this wood triangle thing w the yoyi stacked up, beaker for bearings.
Got a couple around the house also like the ones in throwtation.
My collection is small enough I can see and easily grab whatever bc it’s open. Organized mostly by what helps fit the most yoyos in there.

Every time I pull stuff out for an event I end up changing how I organize my collection so idk

Oh you have a honeycomb! What do you think? I’m loving @MinerJ’s stuff. The A bearing throw (not sure if he’s named that one) is so good imo. Like a slimmer freehand. Which is something I’ve always wanted.

Oh, and to answer op’s first question, and not completely derail the thread (partial derailing is okay :joy:), I don’t. Or I guess you could say I organize them, sort of. I have the ones I’m playing in my pocket, the ones I might want to play in my purse, and the ones I’m gonna play another day (or maybe today :woman_shrugging: ) in the pile.:rofl::rofl:

I’m a mess

I like em! They got some booty and I appreciate that. I think I prefer the fixed axle one bc the bearing one kinda makes a ksh ksh sound and idk what is causing that (I think just the nature of the 3d print maybe? Idk). They’re both good though imo. Definitely get the job done and I like the way the honeycombs when I’m holding the yoyi in my hand.

Got a g2 case with my main throws, the bottom is some plastic cases for supplies, I have another case for yoyos I don’t throw and may need to get rid of. String is in their bags and all ready to go elsewhere

3d printed wall mounted holder. Sorted typically by brand. Some older throws sit in their boxes in a drawer.
