lmfao this was literally me like 3 days ago its the entire reason i started printing my wall honeycomb display XD
Yet another 3D printed honeycomb shaped displayâŚ
Not shown is a second shelf full of loopers and fixies, and a 3rd shelf with stacks of iterations of 3D printed throws.
My wife is scared! Sheâs watched me explore all corners of the cubing world as this collection slowly grew over the yearsâŚyo-yos are next!
Lucky for me, I have a compulsion to have everything I collect portable (except for vinyl figures). As a result, my yo-yos live in a FOV Max case. I can take them all with me, but still see them on the shelf.
Ps: also, it keeps me from going overboard. If it doesnât fit in the case, something has to move or I donât need it.
I have similar theories just not with my toys and hobbies haha. My entire wardrobe with exception of my my big winter coat fits in a single suitcase, camping gear condensed into a single storage tub, I only use 2 cups within the house, no junk drawers or âI mightd this laterâ storage itemsâŚand absolutely no circuit breaker on acquisitions of silly & fun hobby items as a result!
lol this exact model on thingiverse was the reason i designed my set up how i did i LOVE the honeycomb pattern but that particular model just used up so much filament i couldnt use it unfortunately. if i had the amounts required for it though it would have 100% been the one i used lol
very nice and classy dude love that
is that design shared anywhere? I donât have a 3d printer myself, but i have a friend that may be willing to let me print some.
@StitchedSteel just realized that there was more than one 3d printed design in the thread. iâm wondering about your wall-mounted design.
They arenât so much on display unless Iâm home and Iâm throwing. They live in a Gator electric guitar flight case at the moment.
The mini ikea bag!! I keep one in my OP-1 case to hold cables and accessories, itâs a Swedish synth so I thought it appropriate lol
It is what my RCS Loonie came in! I was just trying to throw that thing yesterday. Quite the challenge.
its just little cubbies i designed myself in fusion i used DAP rapid fuse to glue them together in sections and each section of 11 has two cubbies with screw hole areas i can give you the Stlâs if youd like. sorry for the late response been busy the last few days
so this gives me a great idea! like perfect cut out foam in drawers like you see for some tool boxes would be awesome!
