how do you delete a post and post a video not a link on the forums?
Only Moderators/ Forum administrators can delete post’s But you can edit your post by hitting the modify post button.
To post an emmbedded link for a youtube/Vimeo link you just go to the video you wnat to post and copy and past the url from your browser. It should embed automaticly.

You cannot delete a post. You need to ask a mod to do it. At best, you can replace the title with something new and remove the content of your original post. Then you can “flag” the post and hopefully a mod will take care of it when their time allows.
You can embed a video from youtube by simply putting the full link from the address bar (not the youtu.be shortlink from the “share” section). But there’s a catch: YouTube has switched to always serving over secured HTTP, indicated by the “https” part of the link (“https://blah.com/blah”). For the forum’s aging automatic embedding functionality you need to remove the “s” from that part so that it’s just “http://…”
