How big is the yo-yo market?

Aluminum alloy is just like any other product in that quality varies. Even among the american alloys there are some we consider not good enough for what we do. we haven’t used chinese made so I can’t really comment on the quality. What I can say is that we use a custom extruded 6061. We have our own part number so that it’s made to our specs.

If we include every single yoyo company
So main companys clyw/yyf/duncan/c3 etc
Cheaper chinese companys making yoyos
And yoyos made by toy companys that spin for half a second and also include all bst sales made in a year i would say
7 million a year

7 million global is tiny. Just saying. Heck 7 million in just the US toy market is tiny. Funny guess but might not be too far off

I’m just one more person with no specific information, but single digit millions per year just seems improbably low for the market as a whole. It’s hard to see how the entire global ecosystem (OEMs, brands, retailers, events, etc.) could be supported by a number in that range.

I am. My little niche company hasn’t turned a profit in over a decade. But I’m not in it for the money. Which is good because at this level there isn’t any.

I really hope your business kicks up, and I would personally support everyone across the board regardless of imaginary lines if I could.

Edited because I didn’t want to come across wrong, I genuinely try to love everyone

Guys in the market we have to put also the BST and collectionism of old models or not?
I never get if something like collectionism can influence the market, in pokemon cards for example seems yes, first think that come to my mind is the Peak that get sold for thousand dollars, can this be part of the market or is anyway still too small?
