I was stoked to see the AG in my box, but does anyone know, is it known to be a string eater? I was playing with it today, and just swapped the stock string for a standard poly YYE string. It hadn’t even been an hour total, but on my last throw, it snapped right off the string, and skipped around the lunch area at school. Pretty bummed that my new throw now has 6 rough dings. Is string eating a known issue with the AG?

Mine doesn’t eat strings.

I’ve got 4 different AGs in rotation and haven’t had string eating problems with any. I normally throw Type 8 Cotton or Slick 6, for reference. Stock pads.
