He still hasn’t emailed me back.
I’m honestly not expecting him to at this point. It’s been about two years since he took money for this now and I’ve long since considered that money gone.
Thank goodness there are other excellent companies out there.

Yup. Two years ago I participated in the pre-order for his Mentsch. He got them from the factory about 4 months after that…I got mine finally a full 5 or so months after that.
However after ordering the Mentsch I’d written him to add strings and bearings to the order to the tune of $75.
He’d completely forgotten to add those to my order and has been promising to send me those since…I think October 2023

Lol, maybe…be he never did tell me he actually sent them. The e-mail exchange for this thing is a little unhinged to be honest.
The thing that kind of angers me about it is I liked his products enough to praise them to a bunch of people in my direct vicinity.
And now every time I hand something of his to someone I have to add a disclaimer with “don’t try to order this…guy will probably take your money and give you nothing.”
Zs air by zipline is a 100% nylon that is super good. Maybe expensive compared to bulk per string but each string lasts for like at least a month probably more even with daily heavy use. Play experience is consistent for that time also like suicide loops and slacks maintain their shape really well. Doesn’t really fray. Shoutout Jeremy and Zipline
Yeah the Zipline nylon stuff is excellent. I think in feel it’s actually better than the Mazal stuff. It’s just a bunch more expensive than what the mazal bulk nylon costs. But it’s worth it.
Also…guy running zipline is an awesome dude who puts in the work and connects with the community. I met him at Worlds and he rocks.

Correction, he just mailed back stating that international orders start shipping again next week. We’ll see what happens. I like it when people do better in their lives. But anything can still happen at this point.

His yoyos fall apart. The only one i ever had the rim came off, i attempted to get it replaced and he blocked me. Also the nylon strings are the temu version of ZS airs by zipline if you want something similar but much much better quality.
Every story I hear, things get worse and worse lol
