where i am from we dont have thanksgiving but i learned to be thankful everyday for everything.
and with the topic post in mind today i am thankful for the rediscovering yoyos and joining this hobby and it helping me clearing everyday stress accumulation and using my free time in something that would not devolve me but be an aid to develop in many ways.
my wallet is also thankful we are not broke after blackfriday sales 
My family and I are fortunate to be part of the thankful crowd. (We all work for it!)
