Hi Jeffrey,

I make wooden yoyos and I often like to turn hand make gifts for loved ones and friends, not usually yoyos, but rings, tops and other small objects. I like making gifts for people because my time, affections and skill is poured into something tactile for them.

I know you’re a very skilled man and If I remember correctly, I’ve seen a video with you using a lathe. Do you enjoy hand turning gifts for family or friends? What have you made?

I would suggest to find some sort of seed and start growing a tree, now.

That way when Jeffrey finally makes his way to the Forum; you will have a fully grown tree to cut into yoyo halves.

I used to mod a lot. Its how i got into yoyo design. Ive made all sorts of stuff… tops, pens, yoyos, car parts. Lathes are fun!
