Good Time For Different Play Styles

Hi! So in my 1A I am in the Advanced part 2/ expert section. I wanted to ask if it’s ok to try different play styles. I’m interested in off string and fixed axle. Should I get better at 1A before to help with other styles or should I just start with all the styles I’m interested in?

No! Go for it! Can you throw a forward pass? Then you can start offstring (get the fiesta XX) and fixed axle is really just 1a with a not-so-long-spinning resonsive yoyo that can stall.

all yoyos can stall. Unresponsive and responsive.
