I think participating in the BST is a great give back to the community. Low costs can be an amazing way to let people try out throws. Plenty very good condition throws going up for a huge discount off retail pricing.
I usually stock up on low cost bundles when I can so I can give away yoyos to anyone I meet that show any interest. Nothing better than sharing the love and a new potential gateway obsession to a new hobby! This is what crack dealers feel like lol.
Answering the questions other players ask if I feel like I can correctly answer them.
Also only buying new yo-yos to support the ppl making them and the retailers selling them but thatâs just me and what I like. BST is also supporting the community by letting so many people try so many yo-yos and I like that.
This sentiment want in here already but I like this topic and want to bump it. Sponsoring a contests is very direct support to the community and I didnât think about that until people were talking about best brands but it does inform me as to who I want to support w my dollars.
Also everyone that makes tutorials is super super important to the community especially more advanced stuff! There are so so many views for intro stuff and barely any views for more intermediate and advanced concepts and tricks sometimes. those really really helped me skip ahead and push myself like @ChrysaeThrows has this awesome new tech roll tutorial and in it said something like âthis trick is hard but all of these individual movements can be achieved by an intermediate playerâ. and I just really really agree with that idea (especially for tech). Without content creators making the content they do and breaking down each of the little movements, it would be nearly impossible to figure out some of the more intermediate and advanced tricks as a beginner. now that I had help figuring out so much stuff I can see it better without tutorials and I kind of think I want to just learn every tutorial on the internet.
