These were my first 2 unresponsive yo yo’s and the shutter was my first metal yo yo and is still one of my go-to’s. Still easily my favorite color way that I own (green is my favorite color). As you can see from the photo I spent countless hours learning to finger spin on the shutter, which when I first started throwing I thought was the coolest thing ever. These were my 3rd and 4th yo yo’s I bought and I now have 11 and am addicted- can’t stop! I want a Wide Angle so so so bad but it has been hard for me to convince myself to buy one since I own this OG and I have enjoyed branching out and diversifying my collection. I LOVE the wide angles with the silver rims- looks so classy!

Alien Galaxy Shutter with a B grade metal Replay (not sure if the metal replay counts haha). I had a shark teeth aqua shutter but borrowed it to someone and they lost it somehow :frowning:

The Shu-Ta (1) is just a 7075 Shutter isn’t it? I still need to get one of these…

The reflective one got overtightened and wobbles within like 2 months of getting it. The blue one lasted me almost 3 years. I got it for a yoyo science project I did back in 8th grade (the perfect excuse). The bearing seat sort of uhhh fell off so it basically doesn’t work.

Nah there were some other changes too.

“Changed first was the most critical element, the material, to 7075 aluminum. In addition the weight was further redistributed to allow a wider center bowl with a slight concave for finger spin access and control, but keeping the Shutter ‘step’ Shu uses in his 1A play intact”

Also it’s heavier.
