I wonā€™t say best but itā€™s hard to think of a more iconic colorway for a yo-yo than the bapezillaā€™s blue/green split. How many other yo-yos from 14 years ago are still having their color referenced by new releases?

Well not many but dude black is where itā€™s atā€¦

I think of like the winston colorway (blue/orange) and the og pyro (orange/red).

Thatā€™s good.

I just really love One Dropā€™s Downbeat colorway. Very fall leaves.

I personally am a hulk smash kind of guyā€¦ but anything blue/ yellow combo wins me over. My case is extremely blue in shades. I always say I need variety, and then buy another blue throw.

Has Colin made any metal yoyos since the Project from One Drop? I know he runs TMBR and makes awesome fixies but Iā€™m trying to remember if he has made anything else.

Nope.

I just changed my worn out response in my MFD Conspiracy. I found it interesting that regular 19mm pads didnā€™t fit, but CLWY Snow Tires seem to work just fine. Ill definitely use silicone next time though.

I guess itā€™s possible that I am actually getting better because over the last couple of days Iā€™ve been able to squeeze a lot of stuff into one throw and still get in a nice tight flipover bind or ripcord at the end of my frontstyle. Sometimes I almost canā€™t believe how much I get out of one throw and it almost seems like it isnā€™t ME doing it. I am also learning how to recover from misses - if I still have lots of spin time I just get back into a mount and carry on instead of getting frustrated and starting over. Throwing has never been more exciting to me. Thanks for reading my long post.

Sounds like the state of flow to me.:sunglasses:

Sometimes as I am falling asleep I think of new moves / elements and then realize they would require me to have three hands.

Trying to level up by revisiting tricks to perfect them. Totally bugged me out to go back to this Yuuki Spencer trick tutorial by Charles and see that I learned it from the overhead shot but you can see that he does it differently the first time he does it (see the front camera view). There is an extra part not in the overhead shot that I didnā€™t learn. Dang. But also hey, thatā€™s fine, it caused me to knuckle down and get correct with the finger positioning.

Anyways, my motivation for other things has waned drastically these days but yoyoing has still been good to me. Realizing that I need to get into the minutiae of tricks and really get the details nailed because the overall flow can really change with the subtleties. The devil is in the details. Maybe.

Totally forgot how to do a yoyo trick earlier (THIS ONE). Watched a couple of vids and stood there for over 20 minutes trying to get it figured out again.
Itā€™s a trick I use to have down pretty well too! So frustrating!

Then just now I was messing around, and just did the trick purely from muscle memory. I didnā€™t think about how the trick was doneā€¦I just performed it.
Such an uber satisfying feeling!

Moral of the story?
A little less thinking and a whole lot more yo-yoing!

General yoyo thought: just about all yoyos are my favourite yoyo.
