You’re totally good man. They’re SUPER close but it can totally be argued that the Diorama is a “better” yoyo than the Panorama. You’ll have pretty much the same experience either way.
Thanks, that’s what I’ve heard but I’ve been gravitating to yoyos that trade performance for personality lately. Like I have half a dozen $100+ competition bimetals and have been picking my Snack and Koi up way more than my Peregrine and Hummingbird. When I heard the Panorama is more unique and fun to most people, I was kinda disappointed.
Still, I’m excited for sure. Thanks!
The Snack is awesone. Small, but for me does not require any finessing.
cheapest way to ship from USA to Kazakhstan?
It’s crazy how it feels like an undersized yoyo while also playing as well as a lot of full sized yoyos. I never feel like it takes any extra effort. Hell, I have an easier time getting through tricks on it than some of my full size yoyos lol
I thought the diorama had more personality so you might not be a fan of either.
Well why I’m not at Nats, my lady is off with her friends at the spa this weekend and I have nothing but time. I’ve got golf on, I’ve got adult beverages lined up, let’s go baby lol. Hoping to find some cool spots today to film a couple more Taw posts and maybe a GT or two
I wore a [I’m LeftyThrower24 from YYE forums] T-shirt to Nats today cuz i knew you weren’t going to be there.
I haven’t actually tried either yet. But that’s good to hear. I am sure I’ll end up with both when I have the money, but regardless, I’m excited to even have one of them
I know you’re joking but if you did that I’d seriously like send you a personally signed random yoyo for the legendary move. (I don’t think that highly of myself at all I just think that would be funny lol)
I can’t understand the huge mail days some people have. 5,6,7+ yoyos in one day. Does the enjoyment come from throwing them or acquiring them? Not judging. It takes me several weeks to warm up to a new yoyo and really decide if it’s a keeper. Sometimes a whole lot longer. I’ve been overwhelmed when I’ve gotten 2 yoyos in one day.
For me it’s usually I buy stuff over a period but I’m traveling and then boom I got a bunch of yo-yos waiting for me. Or I’ll take a looser definition of mail “day” and consolidate a week or so of stuff into one post cause I wasn’t really thinking about it till I hit sone critical mass.
Either way as a collector it’s a bit of both. Some of it is off this is pretty snd cool and gonna sit on display some of it is this thing is a fun toy can’t wait to play with it. Often it’s both
For me what I’ve learned is that no matter how many yo-yos I buy at one time, I’m always gonna wanna buy another one in about a month or so lol, so I just try and keep it to one at a time. Although I will say it feels like Christmas having multiple yo-yos come in on mail day
For me it was a little different.
In the beginning, I had no reference to my likes or desires in a yoyo. So it was lets buy a few different to try.
As time has gone on, and the shelf is getting full, things have slowed down.
I have a good definition of what I like in my Yoyos now. Buying slowing down to BST, picking up something I missed. Or New releases that fit my Niche.
Although, it is fun getting a Box of Yoyos.
Have fun.
I haven’t played with a yoyo in months now but I started using yoyos to trap insects. I put a yoyo on them, slide a piece of paper beneath, then toss the insect out the window.
You know those times where you hop out of a mount and think you have a magic knot, so you tug the string as hard you can, and it turns out it’s a real knot, and now you’re never ever ever getting that thing out? Yeah that sucks especially when it’s a new string lol
Real
Not to mention that it provides a little room for a longer axle.
Anything under 10mm should be illegal
