My Imperials are cracked but still playable. I’ve been eyeing up a new pair but haven’t pulled the trigger yet due to other yo-yo purchases (mostly loopers).
They play pretty well if you double loop the axle with a good middle thickness poly. They can sleep and around the world, but not for long. They loop a little slowly, but I kind of like that it gives me space to adjust my form.
And that’s most of what there is about my Duncan Imperials. Solid buy. Will buy again. Great value.

I recently replaced my cracked imperials totally agree they are great for what they are. Now I need to get a few more Duncan butterfly and do that fingerspin mod

Oh yea baby, 55 super tournament topps in yellow with the silver stripe!!! Don’t tell anyone but she’s not stock under the hood, no sir, replaced that stock wooden axle with steel. That’s right I said steel!!! Straight up Q ship. Hands down.
