This is pretty much how the entire IG yoyo community works tbh. It’s just a place to show off, and the one that shows off the best gets the attention. The variant here is that it is a suprisingly harmless and healthy place to do such a thing, that’s why it rarely comes off as negative.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m old, but I despise all this mannequin head meme variations. Super lame, makes no sense.
Instagram is where most of the skill and talent is.
Yoyo is to look cool, I don’t have a problem with it. Showing off is quite fun when you have some sick moves! 
They are surreal memes. Just google “surreal memes” click on images and by blow away by what you find. But then again, surreal memes, just like other memes, aren’t for every one. Also don’t say people’s memes are lame, it’s rude and discouraging.
