You should try the new one before you look to spend way more on an original, I really think if it’s anything at all like my ‘10 you will like it. Don’t dismiss it because a few collectors say it just isn’t the same because it’s not imbued with magic. If you shoot for the moon and get a precious historical artifact of a 2007 888 you will be afraid to throw or carry it. Get a new one and it can go with you carefree.
You ding an antique and part of you dies inside, you ding a modern release widely available, now it’s got part of you in it. You can put your own “soul” into your yoyo, not the one you are caretaking for before it gets to its new collector.
