any word from florida state yoyo contest?

I went last year and Tony Alonso, the guy who runs it says it will be held on April 2. I know no other information.

I’m not really following the Florida State contest since I will not be there. But, if you have Facebook, Tony Alonso is the guy running it and he usually replies to messages quickly.

The event will be April 9th but the venue has not been announced yet

Just for you guys here that are not following the Facebook and Website, the April 9 date has been cancelled because they could not find a venue. Therefore, the contest date returns to TBA and will be sometime in the Fall. Luckily for me, I might be able to go now.
