I would say always narrow, if the yoyo is designed to play responsive (fixed axle), it will play better as a bearing responsive (think the deep state)

My concern isnāt really for my yoyo.
Itās for using my axle, and using it in others yo-yos .
Iām leaning towards it maintaining the manufacturers gap, regardless of if itās my axle, or a bearing.

I have a question in somewhat different direction.
Do you have any plans on doing an actual collab design with One Drop? I would really like to see one day a Titanium Project, with or without side effects.

I was gonna mention this to you when you sent me one - it would be freaking cool to be able to utilize your se to allow for narrowing the gap on a standard SE throw.
Some throws are made to accommodate āHalf-Specā bearings, allowing for modern responsive play!

Itās all in the post and the bearing seat depth which is why shimms or shaving the post.

Couple more titanium and delrin experiments heading off to Noel Kunz tomorrow.
One is heavy, at 65g, the other more reasonable at 60.2k
Titanium Weight rings, titanium hubs like the One Drop Cabal, titanium axles.
3mm gap with my solid axle, 4.1mm with a C Bearingā¦

They will definitely not be less expensive!
Time is the largest driver of price.
Minus the Axle stuff, a normal YoYo is 2 parts, with 2 operations each. 4 ops in total.
These are 6 parts, with 2 operations each, (not counting assembling the parts), 12 ops!
WAY more work involved here.
The One Drop guys are crazy, selling Cabals for $70
But they are competing with overseas manufacturing.
Iām not.
Iām making them for my collectors, and if YoYo folks want them too, thatās a bonus!
But Iāll never try and compare or compete with Asian production prices.
I have people to feed!
