I’m typically not a vindictive person. Sure there’s plenty of behavior that you just overlook and that’s where I strive to be…typically… but… ![]()
Yesterday and today I had a run in with a rather unprofessional ebayer and it has me wound up.
I want to spell this out so you all can tell me if I’m just out of my mind. So up front, this is over a stapler, it started off as a very inexpensive purchase with free shipping. So it’s not like it’s over some huge amount, also I was refunded so some might say that’s good enough but it’s a tad more complicated. Kinda “bait and switch” kinda stuff.
So I purchased the item and the seller accepted my payment. They then commenced to cancel the order siting “buyer address issue”. And then they refunded me. I messaged them and asked what the issue was and could we work it out. I then received a message saying it was listed with free shipping and that was a mistake. Ok, but at this point you have already agreed to the transaction and accepted payment. The item was then relisted at almost double with the added shipping. All the while I was waiting for a response from the seller to the few “polite” messages I sent to them but nothing. I let them know how unprofessional their behavior was, also in a polite manner, the only response to all of this I received was an “lol” and the addition of another $10 to the purchase price.
I really want to ask as many people as possible to go on EBay and look up FC10 stapler, there’s only one… put it in your cart and forget about it. Is that bad?
