I bet a good number of the newer people visiting this forum, have: never heard of a Timcor Starfire.. have never thrown one… have never seen one… don’t even have a yo-yo friend that knows one or has seen one… and most interestingly, a few of the newer people don’t even have a clue that you were the mastermind that designed Starfire, years ago.
I remember back when you released that yo-yo, I never heard a single person that had anything bad to say about it. The only time somebody talked about it is when they were saying something good.
And the world could certainly use another run of those. If people knew how well they played, they would sell out in a New York minute..
At one point I had a Something- Double or Nothing. I think I traded it because I can’t find it. But I recently ordered a Raw. It’s a skinny one for sure.
If the Sherpa wasn’t so loud it would have been one of my favorites. I loved the way it played both responsive and unresponsive but the hollow body really amplifies the bearing with an unresponsive setup.
Panorama completely fulfilled my need for a slim unresponsive yoyo. It’s exactly what I wanted (and super quiet )
