Favorite Slim Unresponsive

I bet a good number of the newer people visiting this forum, have: never heard of a Timcor Starfire.. have never thrown one… have never seen one… don’t even have a yo-yo friend that knows one or has seen one… and most interestingly, a few of the newer people don’t even have a clue that you were the mastermind that designed Starfire, years ago.

I remember back when you released that yo-yo, I never heard a single person that had anything bad to say about it. The only time somebody talked about it is when they were saying something good.

And the world could certainly use another run of those. If people knew how well they played, they would sell out in a New York minute..

Seconding Jake Bullock Secret Slim, but it’s a bimetal and don’t see a lot of slims like that.

I like the Yozean/R2FG Squid Tinker with the caps taken off. Turner Cenote and Topyo Block are also great.

Thanks Mo, I should have more plastic ones available soon.

I didn’t know this yo-yo existed. How beautiful.

a width less than 40mm

Please. The late 90s knew what “slim” meant.

HSPIN Handquake 1.4b. A thing of beauty. And an absolute sod to tune.

At one point I had a Something- Double or Nothing. I think I traded it because I can’t find it. But I recently ordered a Raw. It’s a skinny one for sure.

I like all my Slims but Unresponsive Moonshine and Hard Mode get pocketed a lot

Luftverk XP 55 Alpina is also awesome @jeffreypang911

And of course Sherpa

There is a common shape here that I prefer.

The OD Panorama and MK1 Sliver are two of my fav unresponsives. I think I need to get a Honeypot though, I keep eyeing it… May need to generate funds…

I’m in the same boat, brother.

If the Sherpa wasn’t so loud it would have been one of my favorites. I loved the way it played both responsive and unresponsive but the hollow body really amplifies the bearing with an unresponsive setup.

Panorama completely fulfilled my need for a slim unresponsive yoyo. It’s exactly what I wanted (and super quiet :zipper_mouth_face:)
