Can anyone tell me how to do this trick or post a video i have seen gerards one and the short video with the kid that is about 7 seconds long any tips would be nice, i just can’t seem to get my head around it.
Electric fan (and its variations) is really one of those “pat your head and rub your stomach” tricks.
The one Grawrd does is actually exactly as it looks, it is the move from matrix (the second roll), with you holding on to the string at one point (so the die flails around as you do the spin).

Yeah, it just takes some practice to get everything moving. The same goes for the variation of electric fan (the one so many people do in freestyles) where they spin the die with one hand and do 1A with the yo-yo and for helicopter.
